What I love about the DoubleTree hotel is the continuity of amazing service and beautiful, well kept rooms. I love knowing what I'm getting when I pay for something. The DoubleTree hotel is an institution and always delivers. This particular one had the friendliest front desk out of every hotel I have ever been to. I've traveled the world reviewing for Google. The Bella Claire in New York to Castle Hill in Budapest to a Best Western in New Mexico and not one of them have made me feel more like a human being than the intentional staff of the DoubleTree Hotel in Fresno, CA.

Enjoyed a very nice and comfortable room. This location provides easy access to the Fresno Convention Center. I was attending an event there. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet (paid), and there is a bar & coffee bar (Starbucks). They have a business center which includes computer workstations, a printer, a copier, scanner, fax machine and audio/visual equipment.

Rooms are nice and front desk staff polite and professional. Restaurant required a credit card deposit just to order food. Was willing to pay cash in advance but was told a credit card was required. I was not drinking and just place a basic food order. Made me feel like a thief just for ordering food. Male bartender was on point and prompt when I first walked in.

Hotel lobby was very nice! Fitness center was very small but had a handful of cardio machines. The on site restaurant was accommodating and had very good food. However, my room was not as nice as I expected for the price I paid. Ceiling shower had mold growing in a handful of locations. The chair was worn and appeared to also be stained. The curtains had marks that looked almost like bloody finger prints, but I’m hoping it was chocolate syrup on fingers or something similar. When you pay for a nice hotel, you expect things like these to be fixed or replaced prior to the rooms being rented out again.

Good size room, generous sitting area, and pleasing decor. Loved the Murphy bed! Make sure to treat your taste buds and take advantage of one of their holiday Sunday brunches if you get a chance...food is delicious!
